A national competition was held last year to identify the 7 Wonders of Russia. Russian people were invited to text, email and telephone their nominations. Below are the winners of this competition – 7 places not to be missed in Russia.

Strangely enough, Russians have never heard of Bank Holidays or mother’s day. However, if you’re planning a trip to Russia, it might be good to know when the country is off work and on the streets celebrating.
